SMART Flashing Red Light

If you see a flashing red light on your SMART Board (not your projector), it means the SMART Board Service is not running. To fix this try either one of the following:
1. Reboot. This usually fixes it.
2. Restart the service by:

• On your Desktop, Right-click on My Computer and click "Manage".
• Click on Services, then click "Services" under the Services and Applications section.
• Scroll down and find the "SMART Board Service".
• The status column for this service should state: "Started".
• If it does not, right-click and choose "Start".
• The greent light should now light up after a moment.
• Close out the Computer Management program and enjoy.

If it's still flashing, try moving plugging the SMART Board USB cable into another port on the back of your computer and reboot.
