Projector bulb

Sometimes the projectors overheat. After giving it some cool down time you may have to try a few things. Be careful because the bulbs and internal parts can get real hot!

1. Try unplugging the power and let it sit for a few minutes.
2. Get some compressed air and blow out the internal fan.
3. Clean the filter or replace it.
4. If the projector still overheats or the bulb seems dim or won't go on at all - e.g. the thermal/bulb light blinks red or is solid, then you may have to replace the bulb with correct replacement bulb.

I keep EPSON bulbs and compressed air in the bottom drawer file cabinet behind me.
There are spare working EPSON projectors in the cabinet near the Channel 1 TV/player. These projectors are old, but could work in a pinch.
